Paracetamol (? That's what Wikipedia says at least, we call it Tachipirina) In the US the most common brand name of it is Tylenol, and everyone would know what it is if you call it that. Otherwise the generic brands label it as acetaminophen.
OH HI! :) Today it's kind of better, on the way to recovery hopefully.
I've been meaning to tell you, my Internet seems to have gone to the dark side because it won't let me load your latest video BUT I got to see the hair (somewhat)! It looks nothing like the magenta I had feared, it actually looks pretty cool! I'm wondering if you'll meet any magenta-haired girls in China... :P
Thanks for the birthday wishes! My friends at work took me to lunch, and then my family had a nice evening at home. My hubby made roast duck for dinner and lemon cake with whipped frosting for dessert!
Sorry to hear about your sore throat. I hate those. Have you tried the cough drops with zinc in them, like Cold-Eeze? Zinc has been found to interrupt the virus' ability to latch onto your throat and multiply, so it greatly reduces the duration and intensity of a cold/sore throat. Anywya, sending you 'get-well' wishes your way!
I like lemon cake A LOT! Yummy! It sounds like you were showered with love, which is always nice on one's birthday. ^^
Mmm... I had to google Cold-Eeze, because the name doesn't ring any bells. I usually use Strepsils, but I don't have any boxes here at home; if it stops raining, I'll go buy some.
Mum just told me that we used to call it paracetamol too, before they changed the writing on the box. :) Throat is on its way to recovery, I just have to keep warm and wear scarves for a little while longer.
It most certainly sucks, but with him it's more or less his modus operandi. He likes to hear himself talk and, according to another student under his care, he probably suffers from fear of separation. :P

We call it Paracetamol here. :))
I waited three hours to speak to the guy!
That probably sucked. Three hours??? :O
Is your throat okay now? I'm glad that your meeting was a success and I'm sure your dissertation will be too. :)
