So, chibis and silhouettes aside, they actually do have both personalities and character designs, promise. So, yeah. This is Elenti, ancient spirit of fire, the great god of the volcano, supreme lord of the island pantheon.
He's absolutely gorgeous! I have much love for his hair. And his skin tone. Also, weird as it probably sounds, I love how you drew his feet in that one.
May I also add that I'm envious of your dreams? Mine only have car washing, lately.
Thank you. Feet are my nemeses. I really do try, though, and while improvement is painfully slow, hopefully one day I'll get there.
Most of my dreams lately have been less than impressive and certainly not pleasant, but this was a glorious exception, and I'm very happy for it. (Car washing? That sounds... not so fun. ^^;)
Definetly awesome! You'll have at least one avid reader if you deside to write anything more about this story because I am hooked. You're gifted with a lot of talent I must say.
You've already heard my thoughts on elenti. He's so fun to pick on ; ; But this pic is BEAUTIFUL. Seriously lovely, the anatomy doesn't even twinge my senses at all, because it's so beautifullly balanced.
I had to wikipedia the Tiki Room, but yeah, that'd be about right - that attraction is apparently inspired by Polynesia, which is also a great inspiration for this story... Although admittedly at least so far I've mixed Polynesian, Melanesian and Micronesian looks and culture quite freely.
Ooh, he's the bossman? He looks it. That is a 'don't screw with me' stare if ever I saw one. With a liberal hint of 'I can boil your blood to a solid from fifty paces' in there with it. He is completely badass.
Though the hair makes me want to pet it and put beads in. The limbs I'd lose in the attempt would be well worth it.
This world you're coming up with is drawing me in like magic. <3
Thank you. I've spent a ridiculous amount of time in the past months googling and admiring different tapa/siapo/kapa designs, the beautiful patterns and styles to be able to incorporate them into this world. In truth, Elenti probably usually wears even more layers of flowey tapas and ribbons, but I've yet to draw him like that. >.>
And yes, yes, those would both be good interpretations of his glare, there, yes. He's quite cranky, even on a good day. Not cruel or evil per se, usually, but a rather cranky god. u.u

My writing-muses are exceptionally dead at the moment, but hopefully I'll be able to at least crank out some more art up ahead.

There's tons of things wrong with it, but at least I'm aware of them. Hopefully I'll do better next time.
And thank you. I'm glad you like it. ^^

I do. Really and truly.
