Silvesters Toys and Games
Yesterday we took a step forward in getting the business rolling - we signed a lease for booth space in the local bazaar!!! Our space is just a 9'x9' room with an open doorway and a window, but it's in a high(ish) traffic area and doesn't require someone to be manning it because the bizarre handles all of the sales. Sewing
I managed to get off my duff and tend to some sewing tonight. I did most of the stitching on another Elizabethan shirt and about half of the pleating. This is a shirt I cut the other day as part of a batch of 3 - the other two are a different color than this one, which matches the first one I had done ( Read more... ) -
Elizabethan shirt
I spent almost all of yesterday making an Elizabethan shirt out of natural tone linen. The linen is a bit stiff right now, but I think a couple of washes will have it as soft as a baby blanket. I used the Grace Gamble pattern used by this LADYI lost over a hour taking my sewing machine apart trying to figure out why the bobbin winder wasn't working ( Read more... ) -

My friend Jay wants me to start working out with him. The problem is he often works nights and typically goes to the gym in the middle of the morning; when I am supposed to be working...
