Now that you're not struggling with the Debt Monster anymore, it might be at last time to hire a mental health professional to help you get past the brainweasels part of things.

Seriously, I went way too goddamned long before getting myself help with my shite, and it has made ALL THE DIFFERENCE in being able to navigate around the scar tissue, and make something out of my life. I want to see at least the same to you, but of course it's only going to work if you decide on it for your own reasons. For me, it made the difference between having survived all the shitty things, and actually having DEALT with them, so I could get past them -- really and truly PAST them.

I think it might be time, given what I'm hearing from you, to let someone help you find where you need to start with your own scars.

The trick is to remember that you are auditioning the doctors. They will be working for you, and so if you don't feel good about talking to one, don't hire him. If she pushes drugs you don't want to take, or insists on treating drugs in a way you don't want to live with, and won't do talk therapy to help you get your own way around them, then you would be better off whacking the gong, dropping them through the trapdoor in the floor, and yelling "NEXT ( ... )
