Our Holiday Concert Thursday night for Wind Ensemble was spectacular. It's really a shame that more people didn't go. There's been a lot going on lately:

-Snowday on Tuesday.
-Went sledding with some cool kids.
-Dry Hill opening night was last night.
-Garnsey did the vacuum pump demos.
-Watched some videos in English till evil Hinman came back.
-Have a concert tonight.

Yeah that's pretty much it. Whatever. Done.

Today was not too bad.  We watched movies in my first three periods, which was awesome.  I was really sad to find out we're only doing like four Christmas shows for Select.  But I'm glad we're even doing it all.  English wasn't too bad today.  Tonight I actually did the assignment.  I have a band lesson during English tomorrow :D :D!!  Well that's ( Read more... )

I was actually prepared to post a really mad entry, but thankfully Select put me in a good mood (wow??).

I went running after school today and the air seemed really polluted...more than normal.  Like, it was really hazy and smoggy and the air just smelled like dirt.  Anyone else notice that?  That's when I noticed...Watertown really is a city.

We got our English project done in a little under 2 hours, thank God.  I really didn't feel like taking forever on it.  It might've been more fun if we would've actually taken the time in school to do it, but at least we got it done.  Played Collin in ping pong afterward; I suck at ping pong.  I stumbled across the excerpt from Black Boy about the ( Read more... )

Yesterday was basically awesome.  Jimmy came over after work, around 4:30-ish, and we played guitars to all the songs we used to know, and even some new Ben Folds songs.  Had some dinner, played some more guitar, then went out to the mall with my brother and my sister to see Casino Royale.  Such a tasteful Bond; I recommend everyone go see it.  ( Read more... )
