The weekend rolls inexorably towards me.

mr_ant came around last night to discuss possible gigs and to watch the completed video. Further to discuss ideas for the DVD release and discuss the costing of the promo packs. Went on for longer than we were expecting as we chewed the fat on several connected subjects as well ( Read more... )

Soundcheck is at 6 and the doors open at 8. I'm trying to sort out arrangements as there's no real need to take the van to a Bristol gig.

Has a mention of the gig been sent to the Bristol edition of the Metro?

I'm hoping we will be there (J says he's considering it).
And I hope that the ticket price at the door isn't too much more since I don't think we will be able to buy them in advance.

Most of the local music press requires 2 weeks notice (to put their issues together) and we weren't confirmed as headline in time for most but they were contacted. Most of the promotion has been done on the back of what we've done and in the 2 weeks we've had it's been bloody hard work - to whit it must be said that mr_ant has probably done more than anyone and most of the band running him a close second. Until yesterday there weren't even flyers in St. Nic's market!
