My bikes tool roll has been known to hold many tool type items over its lifetime and the occasional pair of thin waterproofs for 'the British Summer Time'. Tonight I made the startling great discovery that the tool roll on the front of the XV will hold a bottle of JD.

The weekend was taken up with celebrating darqmann's birthday on Saturday ad gardening on Sunday. The birthday celebrations included lunch at a mexican restaurant where I suprised people by eating native and then into the cinema to see Watchmen. What can I say of the movie? Like all the best plates, I have quite a lot on mine at the moment. I may, or may not, disappear for an amount of time based on the potential outcome of the next few days. I may change job, I may change mind sets, I may change lots of things. It all really depends on my tolerance when it comes to dealing with people.

I feel like I've accomplished a lot sitting at this end of it but can't remember what that was. We're supporting Vlad in Tears in a weeks time so there's something and I'm still writing the next book. See vanilla update.

Wednesday was off to Sunderland to support the Cruxshadows - excellent people, great act. It's been a busy week which has seen me rack up overtime - I hate overtime as I have to sit and justify it. Anyway, a massive system upgrade was successfully completed under my auspice. Organising somewhere in the region of 30 people to health check a system across about 6 departments, some of whom I've not dealt with before has been tiring.

I figured it out today. I suppose it's because this year is the 25th anniversary of my mother's death. An odd thought that tied together events. But as I'm in the middle of re-writing/writing a LARP system, a novel and working on new songs - somebody give me some money to pay the bills so I can get on with being creative before I'm dead.
