What's especially interesting is one of my favorite series, Violinist of Hamlen, was all about magical music. Incredibly appropriate in the long run as far as my fandoms went/go.

I remember hearing "Safe and Sound" for the first time, it was such a big jolt; I really had completely forgotten how much I loved the sound of Japanese vocalists -- and of course Gerard Way seemed to fit in there perfectly!
I've been replaying all my games too, now that I've got my systems back. Just finished LoZ:TP and am waiting for a repair on my PS2 so I can delve back into FFX...love that franchise SO MUCH. ♥

The only reason I even ever have a Nintendo system is for Zelda! (I'm just getting ready to head into the Shadow Temple again...heh)
But you'll have to let me know what you think about those other FF games, because to be honest, I've only finished X and X-2 (I know X-2 isn't to everyone's taste, but I am shoujo to the depths of my doki doki heart and couldn't resist it. *grin*) and I don't feel like I can really claim to be a fan of the series until I get my hands on Squall play the other games.
