Actually, I almost always read bottom-up, so as to be in chronological order. Since some people may post more often than I check, it tends to make things less confusing.

I like your cross-medium list, though I haven't read the novels on it. One of these days I'll finally get sucked into Bujold by the 5 million people telling me I should read her.
