Off to the beach with Juannie and the family for the holiday weekend! I am looking forward to sun, fun, niece, nephews (now four of them!), swimming and stargazing. I plan to read, relax, win a lot of cash playing poker and drink many margaritas. My parents are also planning to serve mimosas and Kir Royales. What is a Kir Royale?

Champagne poured into the glass over creme de cassis which is a black-currant flavored liquor. It turns the champagne a light reddish color. It's my dad's new favorite.

OMG Creme de Cassis is dh's favorite liquer.......gonna have to investigate this further. ;-)
