Tonight, I found Live Journal again. I wandered SecondLife earlier -briefly-, and found it void of any meaningful contact (and generally empty). FaceBook is a bunch of game posts, funnies, some strangers, some family, some politics... but oddly doesn't really feel social. That secondlife stuff is pretty neat - I've not played on it in years and had no idea that they had (?) done the open sim stuff. Might be fun to fiddle with, but as you said SL has been 'dead' for years. The past many times I've logged on I've been hard pressed to find any people at all. :/

As for laptop parts.... I might be interested in something from that Toshiba. You see, I have a Qosmio x305-705 and some years ago when I sent it off for maintenance they sent it back with one less internal fan than it had. I've been hella lazy replacing it but I could really use one if you might have one you'd sell on the cheap that would fit. :v

There were several Toshibas in the stack, but I think all of them are in the 'Satellite' line. Will have to check :) (and also will check and see if the internal fans are compatible)
