winter wonderlands and seasonal holidays

Yesterday it was 70 F and sunny outside.

Today (well, tonight and tomorrow) we're supposed to get nearly six inches of snow.

So it goes.

****************I took the day off from work today, mostly because I needed to have a span of hours in which I could do things in my own way and at my own pace without the requirements of an office setting. ( Read more... )

I think you have my address in Delaware which will work and I really do need to put one of these up too. Working at home sounds nice, I'm just finishing up my morning shift at the Undergrad library and then one more class and I'm done.

Clearly I fail at poll-making! Email me?

ACK! And I even made it the maximum size the poll would allow!

Um, email is a lovely alternate option?

:) I can do e-mail.

that's strange - it stopped me after 50 characters (including spaces)...

That's because it said 50 characters was the max. For some reason. Perhaps I fail at poll-making!

We often hear crashes and cats running, but often nothing is different. Cats (like gravity itself) just don't fully exist in this dimension.

A random note? Like, "Dear {}, I enjoyed our discussion of Kierkegaard during our expedition in outer Patagonia. I do hope the pangolin bite heals nicely. Hope to visit you on Everest, I'll bring the tea. - Regards, Silver Aspen, Planetary Biologist, Sol 3, Western Spiral Arm."

I have no doubt of it whatsoever. Cats are mysterious creatures.

And that's a perfect example! You've got exactly the right idea. :)

:-) Ok, I definitely would like a random note then.

Absolutely! Can you drop your address in the poll here, or email it to me? silveraspen at gmail.

(I used to have so many more addresses, and then accidentally file-thirteened a lot of records in the move late last year. Aiee.)
