I had a pretty decent Easter this year. Other than having to do some cooking, chores and having company over today wasn't too bad. Except for the fact that I'm really not in the mood to work on my Temple News story although I did do some studying for tomorrow's exam in A/V newsgathering. The Christmas dinner went well enough. My mother, Lamonica and I, got up early to get dressed and went out to breakfast. When we were done with breakfast, we made a few stops to deliver presents to friends and to receive presents in turn. So I seemed to have survived two back to back early morning shifts at UPS, including one double shift. A third day in a row might have been deadly, so I'm taking tomorrow off. I'm feeling a bit better today. Actually, I'm feeling a LOT better. Since I got out of school, I've actually felt worse than better off. It's like a dam broke somewhere and I'm being inundated with stress. Between needing the extra hours at work, holiday stuff and things to do around the house that fall on me, it seems almost too much to take at times. If I'd known that it would be THIS cold today, I would have gone out early yesterday. Yesterday it was about 50F, by the end of the night it was snowing. It wasn't enough to accumulate, but it was enough to make me skip the usual chatting with co-workers in the parking lot after work.
