The IOC is set to pick the home of the 2016 Olympics. I learned just yesterday that Chicago is among the final places eligible. That would be so cool. Go Chi-town, get picked

I was rooting for Rio, the eventual winner. The Olympics have never been in South America and I thought it was about damned time! Apparently, that fact weighed in heavily with the IOC too.
