The IOC is set to pick the home of the 2016 Olympics. I learned just yesterday that Chicago is among the final places eligible. That would be so cool. Go Chi-town, get picked!
ETA: Its 3 minutes later, if that. I just got a CNN breaking news alert that Chicago has been eliminated. Hopefully just eliminated from the Olympics bid and not altogether. I would miss it :(
