Oh, what an awesome weekend! And I'm glad you're feeling lighter of heart. Moving is always tough, and moving to another coast has to be worse, just because of the culture shock.
Yay! I'm glad you had a good weekend, AND that you are good. I've been worried. Also, hee to your reaction to fireflies. Or lightening bugs. I think they're pretty interchangable. You don't have them in California? Really? So you totally missed out on catching lightening bugs as a kid, huh? It's fun stuff.
Pool time, yay! I haven't been yet. Yesterday would have been perfect, but I was too busy sleeping until noon and lying on my couch to do so.
Artomatic - I'd check it out. I'm not super into art galleries, but I guess they have other stuff, too. So, sure. Though, my weekends are pretty busy this month, so maybe we could do that this weekend, too? The Sarah and Liz Weekend Extravaganza? A Two-Day Affair?
Also, I probably say this every time, but I LOVE your Tim Riggins and Gracie Bell icon.
Well I hear that Kal Penn never showed up to work for Obama, so maybe you could have his job!
And go you, being all accomplishy. As much as I like exploring and going to the park here, I realized this past weekend that I wasn't getting anything accomplished. So now I'm working on my editing reel and perusing business cards.

Really? That's weird. It also explains why we have not yet met on the bus.

Go, you! If you're interested, I just had business cards made by this designer (they're based on these, but I had her change the telephone to a typewriter and remove the "call me"). She charged me $55 total for design and 50 cards; for reprints, it'll be something in the neighborhood of $30. So if you're looking for something different and not too expensive...

Culture shock and general loneliness, yes. Not a great combination.
And my weekend WAS great. Yay!

I know you have. But I'm okay, and mostly have been okay. No need to worry too much. :)

Nope! Too...dry, or something? We don't have them west of the Rockies, is my understanding. They're so cool!
Hey, I'm totally up for pool time this weekend; also, do you have any interest in going to Artomatic at some point? It's going until July 8, I think.
