I knew about the food. My mom's been telling me for years, but I didn't know about the products. That's really disgusting with the dirty underwear. Nastiness. Thanks for the heads up. **Note to self: Don't buy punching bags from Taiwan unless I want to do a load of nasty dirty underwear**

Can't help but be skeptical about everything I hear, including this...

There are low-quality products that the US imports from everywhere. Why point fingers at China in full force, without mention of Mexico, of Israel, of the Philippines, from Vietnam?

Not that I'm standing up for the low-quality products from China. I mean, we've known about them for AGES, it's nothing new. You get what you pay for. If you can't pay big bucks, fine, you'll make do with Chinese products.

But what I am saying is that there's a possible political agenda behind it. Who's the next biggest rising economic threat to America on the horizon? Must be a coincidence it's China?

I don't have facts to back this up, but it's just something to think about. Historically, has the US not been one to go for the money, first and foremost? Behind every war, there was economic gain to be had, all thinly veiled with some vague heroic intent like "for democracy to prosper" or whatever.

Call me jaded ...
