Still can't quite believe this is really happening

Yesterday was my second anniversary at Epic. Tomorrow is my last day at Epic. A week from Saturday we are loading the truck (anyone wanting to come help with that is, of course, welcome to do so). If the weather holds, we'll spend the next 3-4 days after that driving to my parents' house. Then visit my folks for a bit, then visit my sister for ( Read more... )

Congratulations! I'll be in Portland from Monday night through Sunday if you'd like to hang out at all, maybe play some games or go to one of the many awesome places in Portland -- hikes, dives, etc. I know you'll be exhausted and busy and all that, though. I'll be around when you get back, too.

I wish I could take a break on life like you and Josh are doing. Alas, we have those things called bills (and I'm not sure I would be very conducive to traveling for so long and so non-stop). I still wouldn't mind taking like a month vacation where about a week or more of it is just lounging around somewhere (and of course, driving Nick bananas...on our honeymoon, I had to really get the point across that I wanted at least an afternoon, preferably a day, of doing nothing (or at least very minor things).

Hopefully, I'll see you next weekend. Are you leaving next Saturday or Sunday (wondering how long to pack for)?
