Things I want to do while we live in Chicago:
  • Go on an overnight biking trip along part of the G.I.T.
  • Go to Europe?
  • Spend a night or two at a B&B in the woods when there is snow on the ground.
  • Go to a Cubs game.
  • Go up in the John Hancock building (again--went when I was in high school).
  • See the Chicago Board of Trade (again--went when I was in ( Read more... )
  • uncategorized, records, travel

I have no suggestions of course, but it's funny that you post this because just on saturday we were talking about things we want to do here before we move away and I said that we need to start an actual written list and put it on the refrigerator or something so that we a. don't forget about anything, and b. so that it's staring us in the face all the time reminding us of what we want/need to do

Well, the cubs are playing right now... we could get tickets anytime. I take it biking the drive isn't the same as biking the lakefront trail? That leaves downtown stuff, travel, and backpacking on the list.

This is a great list, and I wish I had thought to look at it when I was still living in Chicago. :-)

I did a job interview at the Board of Trade, but I didn't get to "see" the Board of Trade. My boss offered to take me down to the floor, but it was too soon before I left the company, so it never actually came together. I was also told that the lake was too gross to swim in, but I can't personally say either way. I never did the MSI, which was permanently on my list, but it's a little different when you're living downtown from when you're living in Hyde Park. Is the Baha'i one the one where there are only 7 of them in the world? I just remember it was all the way at the north of the Purple Line.
