I don't know that I'd recommend it for everyone but over the last month and a half of lifeguarding I've gone from 205 down to 195 pounds. Some of that is just lack of access to food over the course of the day. There is a lot of walking and lap swimming as well.
Hopefully I'll be down to 190 by start of the Fall Semester.
Anyway, lots of time in the sun, lots of water. The only real downside is the constant effort to prevent people from winning the Darwin Award.

Eating is weird. It didn't used to be. I don't feel hungry much.
