Dieting is not going to fix my very sad ass.  (The Very Sad Ass: one of the children's books that didn't make it.)  It's just awful; it's the worst part of my body, but it needs attention just as much as the other parts do ( Read more... )

Make crockpot meals on some days so dinner will be ready even if you're at the gym. You can also prepare casseroles or meals like lasagna in the morning or on weekends (then freeze) when you have time. Wash and pre-chop vegies for salads. Also think about having a sandwich or breakfast for dinner night. Both are easy and fast.

Also remember to love your butt regardless of any sag factor. It happens to everyone eventually and the state of your ass doesn't make you any less beautiful. :-)

I don't use my crockpot enough but if I can start something in the morning in it does make dinners easy because all I have to do is dish the stuff out. The other thing that makes easy dinners is when I make more of something than necessary so that there's enough leftovers for another meal or when I just heat up a bunch of leftovers so that everyone can have a little of each thing (neither of those takes much time at all). And as cholula mentioned above sandwiches and breakfast for dinner are both pretty quick and easy (my kids always think the breakfast for dinner deal is a fun treat every once in a while).
