You truly have a wonderful way with words. Your fics are so nicely detailed and worded that it's incredibly easy to be swept away by the story. And that was a really beautiful and intense story :)
Oh, I will never watch that episode the same way again! :D
Oh wow! That was wow. If there was ever an excuse to figure out how Sam and Jack might *actually* have sex on the briefing room table- I think you've found it!

Oh I'm glad. I didn't want it to seem like a frivilous and unnatural descision, but really wanted to build on the tension and backstory of the episode. Sam and Jack seem so simultaneously fractured and yet bound together, their self induced distance an emotional shield. That plus the way the tension of the cabin scene seemed to crack when they slipped back into their past roles in the briefing room led to this ficlet. Their mutual realisation that there's still some hint of their bond as team members and people, despite all the hurt in the years gone by...
Ok I'm just rambling at you now! Will stop. Hehe, thank you again for the lovely review :)
Mmmm, briefing room pr0n, very nice! I really liked the language you used here. I especially found this phrase nice: a flash of anger dulled by reluctant unstoppable affection
