Heh! Good to see another update. :) Sadly, extra kids is usually the way to bump up the population count, at least until you can get universities and business districts going. Those are the biggies. But I remember someone tried with a household that didn't crank out kids, and it was a drag on the population count.
Then again, if you're not like me, and don't really care, it's not as much of a worry. ;)
I've been sitting on this update for a while - I've got another one that's mostly done, I just need to finish sorting out pictures. I don't mind the extra kids, I just mind how quickly they got back to trying! *laughs* I've already got plans in place for how to handle the population at the point the extras are looking for spouses.
Nah, I'm not going to fuss much either - as long as I'm having fun playing, it's all good. :D
