back from SF, signed up for Tour de Cure
Made it to and from SF in one piece, and I actually feel somewhat rested today. Enough so that I *finally* signed up for the North Shore Tour de Cure:

On Friday, my boss let me go home early (aka after 8 hours) and I treated myself to dinner at Rendezvous in Central Sq (Green Street Grill was closed due to technical difficulties). Sharon, MA historical house tour
Did a quick trip down to Sharon, MA today to tour the historical houses. In most of them, we were the youngest people in the house by at least 40 years, but the Steampunk house had a few younger people looking around at the same time we were. :) I took some pictures but the lighting and crowds were challenging and they're mostly to trigger my -
look who's evil now
Last night I went to see the MIT Musical Theatre Guild's production of Evil Dead the Musical. I'd put in a request for splash zone tickets, but they were all out by the time my reservation was processed. But, awesomely enough, when I found my reserved seat I was in the front row just to the side of the splash zone. :) I didn't end up getting hit ( Read more... ) -

Chinatown parkour
It was a small meet up today, just four of us (one potential attendee had broken a collarbone, and the BCPK guy who'd called the jam was stuck in Europe due to volcano shenanigans so the BCPK group didn't show), which was a shame since the weather was gorgeous. I have until August to get myself mentally ready to prepare a dish/dishes from a mystery ingredient, working in a hotel room with a kitchen. I'm such a recipe driven person, and my tastebuds are notoriously dull (beware my curry) that this is going to be a challenge ( Read more... ) -
