Loved this. Not a pairing I think I could every really love but I saw the connection between then in the finale too.

Awww, poor Nick. And I like that Lester tries to help but without ever dropping the sarcasm or his own personal walls.

Thank you so much, hon. After I rewatched the finale, I just wanted to hug Nick... and for some reason when I thought about it in a writing capacity, I realized I wanted Lester to try and comfort but still be Lester, you know? I'm thrilled that you thought I managed to keep the sarcasm and walls in place during the fic as that was pretty much what I was aiming for. Appreciate the feedback :D
