Oh My God this was just heartbreaking, and so beautifully written...*sniff*. The description of the aftermath of Stephens death is painful and perfect. God I love Nick angst. Somehow it just seems so fitting that of out of all of the team, Lester is the one that sees through Nick's facade of coping. Loved it! Perfect story to wake up to on a Friday morning..*g*

Terrific story. It's nice to have a bit of Nick/Lester for a change, and you've done it beautifully. And I particularly like the image of Nick always sleeping with his feet sticking out of the blankets - that's so him :-) I hope you write more like this.

Heartbreaking - the extent to which Stephen's death affected Nick comes across as completely believable, I can really see him missing Stephen that much.

Lester is so incisive - his insight into what Nick is going through works.

(And I didn't spot anything that needed Brit-picking. :) )

Awww, thank you! I'm so glad that Nick's complete loss comes across and that you thought Lester worked in my story. Those were the two things I was really hoping for, so... yeah.
