in FotR, just before Boromir dies, when Merry & Pip are hiding and they see Frodo, and try to tell him to come hide with them. Frodo says no, Pippin jumps out, Merry jumps out after him and THEY TOTALLY GRAB HANDS OMG. *dies* I must've watched it about eight times in slo-mo and frame-by-frame when I saw it. LOL

but omg. the hand-holding. soooooo adorable and sweet, especially because of the situation, and it's just. so. *LOVE OMG*
