Well, of my seven fish I purchased at Wal-Mart, five (D.W., JFK, Bosra, Houdini, Mulatto) are dead. aww, poor fishes.

there is antibiotic powder that you can put right in the water if you haven't tried it already. it turns the water yellow and makes it really gross and foamy on the surface, but it works way better than anything i've ever used.
