My stepmom works in the ER and I can't get this out of my brain now. Yesterday she said they got a patient in who was a gang member (and drug dealer) who had been shot in the neck during a gang war (he was shooting at the other side as well). I would not pull the plug on anybody, unless they were brain dead. To me that's like murder.

In Oregon we have assisted suicide... That's a hard topic. But maybe he doesn't really want to die. I've heard lawyers defending murderers say that when their client says, "I don't care if I get the death penalty," you ignore them then come to that topic when the next day.
