Is that akin to rule "54" (or whatever rule it would be)..if someone likes it, there's a festival for it?

Gotta get my ancestral food fix somewhere between this coming Oktoberfest and the next one. I go to the right place at this festival and I might find some. :9

Though once my garden is ready next year I'll be paying the local butcher a visit and cooking up a storm.

Mmmmm...

Zwiebelkuchen, apfelstrudel, bockwurst, sauerbraten...

I'm even trying my hand at making and canning my own sauerkraut! It's next to impossible to find good storebought sauerkraut. Even harder ot find it made properly. (read: the way grandma did it)

Congratulations, you've found my Kryptonite. ... I used to love horseradish, but a couple of years back ended up with a bad batch of Boar's Head Horseradish cheese. Since then, there is now way I can tolerate it. Taste aversion FTW!

I love both horseradish and cheese, but not combined like that.

Honestly I prefer fresh ground horseradish. Just put into the vinegar ftw!

This might be key... I like "wasabi" (as fake as that is in the U.S.) so it may well be just a combo' deal for my intolerance.
