that sucks about your accident. i almost got into an accident once on a freeway, some van slammed on his brakes in front of me & i was sort of tail-gating him (we were on the on-ramp to get onto the freeway) and i was like a half a foot away from rear-ending him. my heart was pounding that morning!! close call.

that's great that you got a credit card! so the 12% is a fixed rate? not variable? never get a variable rate credit card! they're evil! lol. what bank is your card issued through?

so you're going to EMCC now?

$300 is kind of a lot.. but hey, when i first got my car, geico wanted to charge me almost $500! i switched companies, now my insurance is a lot lower. but also if you get into accidents it raises your insurance, too.

yep fixed rate of 12% and it's issued through USAA.

I haven't registered because I need to meet with the head of the honors department, but once that has been taken care of I will be going to EMCC.

$400+ is pretty much what I was quoted at with everyone else. $550 was the highest with All State and my second lowest was $386 a month with Titan. After hearing 4 other 400+ quotes, I think $298 is pretty good for full coverage is the best I can get. Who's your insurance and how much is your monthly payment (if you don't mind me asking)?

p.s. i need your phone #'s.

oh, i've heard of USAA. i wasn't aware that they issued credit cards, i thought they were just an insurance company.

i have mercury, i only pay $190 for full coverage, but it will be cheaper very soon because i'm adding james' car to my policy. thank god. :D

my phone numbers?

my cell is 623.628.6861, but later on this month i believe it's going to be changed since i'll be switching providers. :)

you can transfer your phone number to a new provider. I did that with Verizon when I left cricket.

i was thinking of doing that, but i'm not sure if it will work. i'm transferring from t-mobile to cricket.

insurance for someone my age is usually high, but it's no biggie because I can afford it and my rates will go down if I can keep a clean record for a year.
