Good News / Bad News / Good News / Good News + Contradiction
Good News1: I went up to EMCC yesterday and took my placement tests. I scored high enough to enter Honors Math and Honors English, now I have to go take a reading test and if I score into Honors Reading then they will enter me into the honors program so I'll graduate with honors. Go me? Totally.
Bad News: I got into a car accident on my way to work this morning. I was rear ended on the freeway. The guy was straight out of Mexico, didn't speak a lick of english, and didn't have a driver's license, but his car was insured (through someone else) so my car will get fixed (it has a nasty dent in the back) and his car will be fixed.
Good News2: I've set up my new car insurance. I'll have full coverage and it will only be $300 ($298 to be exact) a month. I know that sounds like a lot, but I'm only 18 so it's pretty good IMO.
Good News3 + Contradiction: I got a credit card. I know I said I would never get one, but it's a great deal. I have a $1000 limit and a fixed APR of 12%. My interest rate will always be 12% unless I miss or am late on a payment.
So things seem to be going all right for the moment. I just have to get my car fixed and I hope it will be fixed soon. Here's to hoping!
