New Things!

I took some time to walk around the Rai Rai Ken area the other day...

And came across this small park. It was, ...captivating... the grass, the trees...all things I had only heard stories about until now. Even the... rain(?) that I heard some people complaining about earlier...is pretty...

Although, nothing, nothing I've seen can quite compare to ( Read more... )

parks, sun, grass, trees, weather, ...them

I'm glad you like it here, Nill-chan. I agree with you on the sun part. It's nice to feel its warmth on my face. Our home didn't have enough sunlight, did it? All dark and dreary and blech.

It is nice... It's almost .... like the metaphorical light at the end of the tunnel... It...makes this place seem happier... Unlike our... "home" that had none, and felt nothing at all.

Only downfall is that huge monster, but I guess you can't have it all, right? It's still an improvement from our old home.

Now we just need someone to point us in the direction of an old church...

It is,...and, that's enough for me...

That would be nice. Although.... I could be happy, anywhere as long, and we were all together...

Rain has a rhythm to it, Nill, same as any other music. Some people like it, others don't, depending on the time... It just depends on your preferences.

... Though, it sounds like you've been locked in a dongeon all your life. I know a girl who could probably relate. Regardless, I'm... it's good that you are able to enjoy little things like that. I think happiness might be a rare thing in this world. Not that I'd really be able to tell...

Music? I, I guess you're... right. I've never really had time to, sit back and, enjoy things like that, before... Survival, had to come first. Maybe, I can find some CDs someplace to listen to... But the bit I have, heard... I really liked! ...I think it, was a piano...

...Worse. ...You, could, say that.

...It is, but, I don't sense the same, loneliness, hopelessness I sensed, back... "home". What, about you... Mr. Demyx? Are you happy here too?

((ooc: ugh.... spelling and HTML Fail sorry TT_TT))

Wait a sec... do you mean to say that this hole is a better place than where you came from?

Piano? Eh, piano's got a good tone color, but it's the string instruments that really shine when it comes to music. You'll see sometime.

... I can't remember the last time I was happy. It was another life, back then. But I think that in spite of the bad things here, there are some good things too.

Ah, that park. You might find a scene of epic proportions there! A battle took place between two Overlords of magic and brawn!

Ah! Really, Mao? Is that where you and Mr. Cockroach had your fight? It must've been impressive.

That's right! It was rather impressive, if short. Even with our energy cut, I can still wail a pounding. Mmm!

Well, I suppose you aren't called an overlord for nothing, Mao.
