First things first, I have a problem with sticky notes.  And sticky flags.  Or anything that involves stationary and some sort of adhesive aspect.

You know, I think I agree - I wanted Snape to be good, but it feels like his being good was made cheap.

I still think the book deserves 4/6, and I did enjoy it, but I'd really prefer Rowling to have stayed away from making Lupin so flawed (because all the father figures of Harry must be? I see no other actual reason for that subplot), Snape so sweet, epilogue so lame.

She should have told us something about "one year later" and "who's doing what" maybe even "who's dating whom" but instead we have two ships confirmed and children brought in. Even Draco's appearance did not save that for me - the epilogue was cheap. Done in a thousand ffs precisely that way. I wanted to be surprised :(

Everything in the book was like that, I thought. It wasn't necessarily the things she did, but the way that she carried them through. Every route she took was the easy one.

I thought it was entertaining but, as a friend commented as we were reading, it didn't seem like it was really Harry Potter.

The epilogue, upon reflection, could have been so much worse. There could have been a birth scene, like in a really awful fanfic (and some good ones as well), only having Hermione and Ginny giving birth at the same time...

I thought it was a rather uplifting mark. I do apologise...

Find something to wash it from your mind quickly!

Lovely pictures. I enjoy being able to take credit for supplying the sticky notes. I really must do that with mine as well, considering 4 of 7 are currently in a similar condition. (I may have to erase the notes about the foot fetish before handing off DH to the grandparents, thought...)

My "favourite" bit was Harry nipping off to watch Snape's memories like something on the telly whilst everyone was dying in his stead. Good hero boy and whatnot.

They weren't Snape's memories, they were actually a hallucination brought on by the LSD-laced pot he smoked before the battle to lessen his nerves. In fact, Snape didn't really die. He imagined that too...
