You'd be so proud of me, hon. I finally saw Batman Begins last week. Oh. my. freaking. god. Yes, it's even convinced the harshest cynic that Gary Oldman might once more be yummy. MIGHT. *still bearing deep grudge* I even grabbed all the screencaps I could of Liam Neeson in the Darth Maul garb, because somewhere in the back of my mind, I'm squirrelling away for future rpgs. Considering that I really don't know anything about any of the villains in this movie, I'd say it was a pretty damned good job. I see what you mean now by the realism of it. Very cool indeed. (That 2-Disc set is cheapest on Amazon, this week. WalMart fuckers are charging $10 MORE in-store for it.)

My car's got an electronic issue, so I haven't been able to drive down to the post office to mail the goodie package for you and swades. (Hey, I had to get a bigger box, anyway.) Perhaps my mother will let me take HER car all of five blocks tomorrow? *pointedly NOT holding breath* You have my permission to blame her for late prezzies ( ... )

Liam Neeson is extremely hot in this movie. I could get into how I had a feeling something was off from the moment I saw him and what a brilliant comic interpretation it was and how nice it is of Ra's al Ghul to go around without a shirt in the comic sometimes, thought that was before his elder daughter Nyssa killed him (but he planned it that way and I'm sure he'll be back) and all sorts of craziness. Yeah. Liam Neeson is extremely hot in this movie.

Wilma basically pruned our trees for us. 6 million to the south w/out power for a few days.

I have no idea what those things are.

Good, I'm glad Wilma wasn't any worse for you. Season's not over yet, though. *sigh*

BTW, found out what those alien brain looking thingeys are from a farmer at the pumpkin patch today: Osage Oranges, also known around these parts as MonkeyBrain Fruit and Hedge Apples. *shrug* They seem to be a cousin of the mulberry (only giant and green), and are rather inedible, unless you happen to be a squirrel. I was warned that the scent of those will turn any nearby squirrels into fanatical, rabid piranhas. (I guess they're tasty to rodents.) O_O;

This same farmer also mentioned that they're a great cockroach repellent. Should I send a bucketful to FL? LOL! j/k

Hi! We're fine down here. Ka-chan got her license yesterday, so she's sent Yuyu his plane ticket! I hope he gets here soon. I miss people my own size around.
It's getting colder, so she wants to make me some warmer clothes. Unfortunately she's really swamped, but she's trying to catch up as much as she can when she gets a chance.
She also thinks you need to go here,
She recognizes those things your friend has and is trying to find out what they are.

Love, Tomo
