I Am A Stranger To Myself

Feb 15, 2008 01:33

I have been having many strange days lately. For me this is not a good thing because it is a sure sign of impending deep depression. I know for a fact that Once I get over this horrible mania that I am on that I am going to surely going to crash and burn. I'm dealing with a lot of the same things, I see the same 'shadow' people, when I'm most manic, I think they're ghosts not delusions.
It suck, this waiting for disability thing, how do they expect us to survive in the mean time?
if we do, we prove to them we don't need help...if we don't, we're homeless and on the streets or a burden to a loved one.

Yeah, They expect you to just fall in between the cracks and just never pursue the matter any further. ;-) I have a lot of patients.

Hey, even if you are delusional it doesn't mean you're an idiot - look at John Nash, with his schizophrenia yet also a nobel prize in math...these experiences don't negate intelligence.

Hang in there, remember - there is always a path out of Hell even if it takes some time to find it *hugs*

LOL D, the thing is, there are more people who are very intelligent that are in some kind of therapy than those in denial.

At least we don't hide behind the facod of a "Normal" life.

My Best To You,

I was there off and on for 2 years, in and out of the psych ward. Almost lost everything, but miracles happen and I somehow got out. Also, my disability came through right when we were about to be evicted. So, there's hope, and I'm hoping things get better for you too.

Thank you for your words of support. There is a great line from the original "Bat Man" Movie. "Crazies Don't Scare Me, At Least They're Committed".

Hey, It works for me, ;-)

That is where I am at now. Of course they do not want you to work, but they expect you to be able to survive.

Luckily for the moment I have my former employer, who's name I can't say (H*ME D3P*T) insurance that is paying for my disability but I know that a good thing is not going to last forever.

Oooohhh.... The whoas of being a nut case. He he he he (Big Cheesy Grin)

I send you my best,
