One of my favourite A Softer World strips is the one about the girl who, as she's committing suicide, remembers that The Golden Girls is out on DVD & that could've gone in the CONS column. I had a moment like that the other day, without the suicide, thankfully (and obviously).

Just my own personal, but Primeval rocked hard and was fun during the first two seasons. It went down the shitter so fast in series three, I quit after the fifth episode.

The Buffy movie! ♥ ♥ ♥ I love that movie so much. Buffy! Pike! The Longest Death Scene Ever! -- "You ruined my new jacket! Kill him a lot!" -- endlessly quotable. And that DVD artwork is gorgeous, much, much prettier than the region 2 release.

Agreed. I can't believe all of the hate that movie gets, esp. in the Buffy TV fandom.

Neither can I - it's funny, witty, silly and goofy and it's enjoyable to watch.

I love that death scene! Years later, when it finally clicked that the actor was Pee-wee Freakin' Herman (or, well, Paul Reubens), it made total sense. :P

That cover art reminds me of the artwork on the early BtVS season DVDs, I wonder if that's the look they were going for. (Though, yes, the new work is prettier-- and, heck, Pike!)

Nine is totally my Doctor too, though I haven't really given anyone else much of a chance. I really need to finish watching Ten's run.

I concur on the 'Hatter!' ♥ Honestly, I never would've even watched Primeval in the first place if it wasn't for him. I'd seen it advertised & shrugged it off. I'm not that into dinosaurs, but I am quite into cute guys who act like dorks and crush on awesome chicks. :D

LOL I know what you mean! My favourite bits were usually the odd conversations that revolved around Mrs. Slocombe's pussy and then the countless hints/euphemisms about Humphries' sexuality. The things they got away with airing sometimes just blows my mind. :D
