Today was a decent day. The good things outweighed the bad, which is pretty much all I ever hope for.

The bad:
← We (being me, my mum, & the dentist) all assumed that my jaw pain/recurrent earaches were because of my wisdom teeth. :/ Yeah, not so much. DC is wondering if it might be TMJ so I might make an appointment with my GP next month to ( Read more... )

I've been able to start differentiating between rational/situation anxiety and irrational/social anxiety.

I like Jimmy Carter too (his work with Habitat For Humanity is nothing short of inspiring), but ... I don't know. I guess I have a soft spot for the Clintons because they were in the White House for most of my adolescence & political awakening. (And, man, I cried like a baby in 2000 when Gore lost. *sigh*)

Ohh I looked at the TMJ page and it reminded me - I kiiind of have a similar problem, though I never had like earache or headaches connected with it... I can't open my mouth too wide normally, but if I click my right joint it's like my jaw unlocks and then I can. An orthodontist tried to make my mandible shift forward so I won't have this problem, but when it's forward I can't chew right.
So now I'm in this in-between state :P It's alright, and since it doesn't hurt, I have no problem with it.

Good news with the therapy :) Sounds like progress!

I didn't reply to the senses poll because questions like that freak me out. I don't know why.

Wow, I'm glad that's not painful though it has to be uncomfortable. :/

Yep! And progress is good! ♥

Well, it was a really weird question &, heck, it's not something everyone really wants to think about because, gods forbid, who knows what might happen to us in the future? I just tend to think about odd things like that when I'm bored.
