I have seen 7 episodes of Supernatural & acquired two icons so far. (I'm hunting for a third: one of Dean from the salt & burn scene in 'Hook Man'. I know I've seen some pretty ones before but, now that I want one, I can't find any I like. Any iconner recs

Yay! I've been doing a giant re-watch of SPN with the boy, and he loves it :)

.. actually, he sorta loves telling me how buff the boys are. I don't know whether to be scared or turned on ;)

I was about to comment that it was the perfect show for couples -- you get the pretty boys & he gets the creepy storylines -- then I read the second half of your comment. :D :D

... I think I'd find it a turn-on, but I already have a thing for boys who like boys and girls so I'm definitely biased. ;)

.. er, George probably loves it for the same reason. But talks more about how he's aiming to have a body like Sam's. I SO don't to complain when he does gym now ;)

TBQH, I didn't like a majority of Season One. Because it was so horror movie typical, I had the mysteries figured out within 10 or 15 minutes. Watch enough scary movies, you're pretty much set. I don't think I hit an episode I really enjoyed for its story and overall production until "Faith", which had the fabulous Julie Benz in it as well. The latter half of the first season was better, I'll grant. As a whole? I wasn't impressed. In fact, the only reason I hung on as long as I did was because I thought Dean was hilarious. S2 knocked me on my ass, from the first episode, though. I was like, "Is this the same show?!" There were just a few clunkers in that season. S3 ... we'll not speak of it.

Hey, I like your honest opinions. :D Even though we don't always agree, I tend to be able to see where you're coming from & it's fantastic to be able to look at things from another perspective/mindset.

I'm really enjoying the show so far, but I can definitely see your point about the storylines -- they're linear and fairly obvious if you know anything about the source material. For a wuss like me, though, I'm always on the edge of my seat to see how things progress. I'm at 'Scarecrow' right now, so I'm almost over the hump (and at 'Faith') -- I'm rather excited to finish the season now, knowing that it can only get better. :)

Another aspect which I'm never affected by is the horror level. I've had people talk about this show scaring the hell out of them. This show's never scared me. Dude, I'm horribly afraid of ghosts, it's the ONLY thing that can make me lose sleep at night (I couldn't sleep right for two weeks after The Sixth Sense, ok?), but not even the GHOST stories bother me!! I've had a couple of jump because I wasn't expecting something moments, but other than that, I'm chillin' during the eps.
