i don't know about in hair but i know on the skin it can last from like a week to a couple weeks depending on your skin.

Yea, henna has been used for thousands of years, and not just for adornment- it's also used for healing, dyeing hair (it actually is really good for your hair) and was also used on the soles of children's feet in the countries where it was really hot, becuase henna is a coolant.
