I'm working off my jet lag a little bit every day - though this morning I caved and drank coffee because I kept staring blankly into the computer screen. Not exactly a good look for the face of the front desk. :P

My tiredness might also have to do with being up a little late last night - zinjadu and Kindra threw together an impromptu 4th of July picnic ( Read more... )

Yay excellent job news!

And I totally know what you are saying about the deep and resonant voice thing. My voice as well was never really girly but I always like that. I wasn't like the other girls and I didn't want to be.
Another thing? I'm so glad I don't have bubbly handwriting. Yuck!

Yeah, happily I've grown to like my own voice. I just remember feeling really self-conscious about it when I was a kid, like I sounded too masculine or something.

Do you still have that really neat, tiny handwriting?

I never thought of your voice as being deep, but I think it's beautiful none-the-less. :D

Congrats on the non-official jobness, too :D It continues to sound like things are going on the up-and-up.

(And yeah, isn't not having homework nice?)

Yeah, I like how things are going right now. Of course it would be nice to have confirmation, and also be getting full-time pay and benefits; but knowing that those things are coming is almost as good.

(I really like not having homework. :o I'm sure I'll miss classes terribly as soon as people go back for Autumn Quarter, but I'll still be happy to avoid the hours and hours of reading and paper-writing.)
