My email inbox has been so woeful lately.

I think dad's alcoholism is starting to affect his mind. He's always been a difficult person to deal with but now he gets details confused and then yells at me. He will suggest meeting up and say he will call to confirm but then three days later will get angry because I didn't call.

same thing happened with my dad this past weekend.
it was mums bday on friday.
by 7pm dad still hadn't phoned mum.
desmond called him to ask when he was gonna call mum to wish her a happy bday. dad blamed me for not reminding him.

he told mum he'd be over midday on sunday.
2pm rolled around and he hadn't showed so mum called and he said he was waiting for us to call him to confirm we were home. we were like aye? u said ud be over so we were waiting. ugh.

fucking alcohol. i should really hate it more than i actually do.
