It is precisely one month until I leave. London accomodation has been booked, all I have to do is buy a few things. I am itching to start this trip. Three months away from work and mum. My email inbox has been so woeful lately.

I think dad's alcoholism is starting to affect his mind. He's always been a difficult person to deal with but now he gets details confused and then yells at me. He will suggest meeting up and say he will call to confirm but then three days later will get angry because I didn't call.

My mother let me sleep in until 10am this morning. I felt this needed documenting because it has never happened before. 8:30am is usually the latest she will leave me alone.

Went shopping with mum today, we don't go on proper outings very often anymore so it was nice to spend some time together. She took me past the old neighbourhood we used to live in and the whole area has been renovated. The houses are gorgeous. I couldn't help but wonder what life would've been like if we never moved.
