It was the first full World Cup match that I watched (too busy with the women's football World Cup) and now this happens. :-(

Yesterday appears to have been a bit of a weird day; the consensus in the pub on Friday was that England and France would both be crushed and that the last four would all be Southern Hemisphere teams; instead, both of the European teams seem to have grown a spine just in time.

I saw a guy in an All Blacks shirt in town the other day. My friends didn't understand why I suddenly squeed.... XD

It's tough enough being a Kiwi anywhere today, but it's even tougher being a Kiwi in France. I'll have to go in to work and face my happy colleagues tomorrow, and try to keep my emotions in check....
