Baking Blitz

After weeks of no baking, it's time to heat up the oven again! Top three from the last weekend.

My "tin" (actually a silicone loaf thingy) wasn't quite the right size, so it came out a bit bulgy, and pitting the fresh cherries reminded me that we need to buy a cherry pitter. However it's lovely and worth the faff.

This one is less faff and a bit less sweet, but has become a family favourite

I'm really not a fan of white chocolate, however, your baking at the weekend did make me want to look up (dark) chocolate and cherry recipes. Good point about the cherry pitter!

First hit for "cherry pitter" is a video on how to DIY one out of a cheap fork with a pair of pliers! I'm definitely giving that a go.
