I never took history at high school....

... but I'm making up for it now, believe you me, people.

*brain grabs a drink and collapses*

I don't have the energy to tell you all the whole story but suffice to say that tonight I have managed to pull a history assignment together out of nothing, to help the increasingly stressed out Mitch, who hasn't quite managed the art of time management ( Read more... )

homework, mitchell

You are so awesome for doing helping him with it on such short notice! There's no way my parents ever did that! But mum never believed in homework, maybe assignments were inclusive.

I hope you get a good mark Sare! Was it at least something that was vaguely interesting, like something the Winchesters could have uncovered?

I only did helped him with some of it, it's all his hand writing, lol. But I hope I he gets a good mark, too! To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of homework per se; I think kids have so much going on in their lives that they need time to just 'be'... God knows I did STACKS of homework during high school - it's only now it might be starting to pay off, lol.

The assignment was all about family heritage - he had to draw up a family tree as far as we could go and then pick one family member and find 5 sources of information about them. We chose my brother so finding stuff wasn't too hard!

Cow here, again. Oh, I didn't mean you were ancient, hon, more scholarly about history. Gee, that was lost in translation, lol

*covers all bases, tries to be nice*

BTW, speaking of bovine. I have a dog for you. He's friendly, but pulls washing off the line.

*gigglesnorts*

What? You mean WE got our wires crossed?? Say it ain't so! LOL. *loves watching you cover all bases*

I'll take your washing-loving dog and swap you for a garden-digging cat... she keeps digging up my mini buxus plants in the front garden to do her 'business'! Argh! I wouldn't care so much if she did it out the back... no-one can see out the back, ffs. But the front? *sigh*

It's loverly, innit?! I miss them. *fangirl sigh*

It's just past breakfast time and a much less-stressed boy has left for school with completed a-sigh-nment tucked under his arm. *g*

What would the boys do without their mommy? ;) Glad to hear you were able to help him out. And no worries, I'm sure he'll adjust soon!
