Oh thankyou! I saw Jensen on Youtube recently, speaking at the LA Con about how Jared had never heard the 'pull my finger' joke in all of his 26 years on this planet - and now that he has, he does it all the time to Jensen when they're in the Impala, lol. It just cracked me up and your icon reminded me of it!
Australian schools break up their school year into 4 chunks of 10 week terms - at the end of Terms 1, 2 & 3 they get two weeks holiday, and at the end of Term 4 (which is in mid-Dec, our summer) they get 6 weeks off. Easter is normally combined with the holiday at the end of Term 1. Two weeks is long enough, by the end all us parents are DESPERATE for the kids to go back to school, lol.
I hear you re. PB. I know they won't have a happily ever after ending either, but like you I want our main characters safe and breathing. *crosses fingers* However, I am slightly comforted by the fact that if we don't like the ending, fanfic writers will fix it asap! *clings*
Ha! You picked up on my tags! *g* That was the song in my head when I wrote this post, lol.
Mitch is definitely the drama king, lol. It doesn't help that the boys from our neighbourhood that he normally plays with are a year or two older than him, either. But, he got over it once he'd had his little meltdown -- as I said to him, I could've let him go and most likely nothing would have happened. But that's not the point - he's not at an age where I could feel sure that he'd know what to do if something DID happen, you know? *starts saving for therapy bills NOW*
Ooh, glad to hear your meeting with Nicole went well - I'll have to go and read about it in your journal - I trust there is a picture of the two of you?
I'm already starting to see a bit of 'attitude' from Nate, and he's not quite 10. *sigh*
Yep. Around 10 or so is when it starts, I reckon. I just know that Tony and I will look back at Nick as a teenager and think that he wasn't so bad compared to what Mitch is going to be like! *facepalm*
Big Love is so brilliant - I love it! Just when I think I know where they're going with the story they go and blindside me with something else. Awesome.
I can't help but have less than faith in TPTB re. PB -- their track record is not so good. *sigh* But as I said further up this post, at least I know we have plenty of fanfic writers who can correct any fuck ups if need be, right? *winks*
*giggles* *watch you shake your booty* I will think of you especially over the next couple of weeks. hihi You mothers have so much guts. I was whimpering just reading. *winks* I love Big Love too. I've watched every episode. I know what you mean about the jaw thing. LOL! *hugs you*
Whoa, Mitchell wants to go to the movies with friends and he's just 11? My youngest, Connie, is 11 and she's a baby! I can't imagine her trying to go out without parents. Is this a boy thing?
I haven't seen any of Big Love, but, I finally have Season 3 of Dexter. Big score!
Not sure whether it is a boy thing - could be just a Mitch thing. LOL. His mates from around the neighbourhood are a year or so older, so possibly that's why? But even if he was 13 I'd still be a little hesistant to let him go to the movies without an adult, which makes me wonder about the other parents! *sigh*
Woo hoo about Season 3 Dexter - it is BRILLIANT, Viva, just bloody brilliant. Jimmy Smits is a guest star and he is AWESOME. *fangirls*
Nice choice of song, girlfriend! *more ass shakin'*

I am all caught up on BL and CANNOT WAIT for more episodes. S3 is excellent, and yes, you'll be watching them all right in a row for sure!
Seconds your motion that they'd don't find a way to fuck PB up. (They will though, won't they? *wibbles*)
