First week of actually doing the new job was mostly uneventful. I don't expect it to stay that way, but it was good to ease in gently. I can't believe how much a difference not having to answer the phone whenever it rings is making in how much more mentally put together I feel at the office. It is SO exciting how your horizons keep expanding and expanding!

We had brussels sprouts growing this spring. Well, the brussels anyway, but they never sprouted.

I tried growing them once before, but put them in too late, so we didn't get any sprouts before the cold set in. I'm hoping a mid-april start will give them the time they need to mature.

I do feel like my horizon are starting to expand, after a long time of feeling very stagnant. It feels good to stretch a little.

I am enjoying the camera, even if I have NO IDEA what I am doing with it beyond pointing it at things and hoping for the best.

I think it's easier to welcome change when it's happy change, which this will be, if I can get there. I've been idling for so long, anything new and different feels good, you know?
