I'm still not sure how I feel about the capitalization of "Black." I'm pretty sure I dislike it when the people who do it don't also capitalize "white," though.

Your "fabulous bit" is also my favorite part of the article, and I shall have to remember it.

Is it stronger in the U.S. than in Canada? When I was in New Orleans and Chicago, I was quite startled at seeing some of the racial divide, but I've always been cautious about making claims about the situation of black people in Canada, since I admit I know very little about it.
