Oh, and it just hurt me to break him this way, too. I hate to make Dean-o feel like Sammy doesn't love him, it's the one thing he has to rely on, which is why the last few episodes hurt so damn bad. It took me a while to figure out how to make a satisfying ending for this one, and then it just hit me... separate bedrooms! And when Sammy comes and crawls in with Dean, everybody will feel better! Yay!

Oh, Winchesters! I really like how you show Dean as just so tattered from worry and guilt and John trying to help him but not always getting it right.

Ooooh, "perfect" is such an awesome word. I was adamant about keeping it with as much cannon-like feel as possible. I'm happy to know that it was a success. Thanks for the prompt, it was fun. Though it's time for Esmerelda's nap, now.
